I hope everyone had a great weekend and a great Monday!
We finally got some cerakote projects started and some finished. If you are curious about this process we can go more in depth with you but the basics of the process is to choose the item/items you want to cerakote. After this you will blast your parts to get them ready for coating.
This is what our blasting set up looks like.
The two parts we were spraying with cerakote in the process were a stripped upper and a stripped lower receiver set. This is what the aluminum looks like after being blasted and before the coating begins.
The next part of the process is to gas out the metal parts. You simply put your parts in the oven for 1 hour to bring out the oils that may be trapped in the metal.
The next process is to mix your cerakote, spray your parts, and then bake.
This is what the finished product looks like. We chose to cerakote this set in Sniper Grey and it turned out great! We offer a variety of different color options so if something like this interests you for your firearm just send us an email or give us a call.
We have more t-shirts coming in this week and they should be available shortly. We really like how they turned out.
This coming weekend we will be doing some training in Travelers Rest and we will try to get some photos of what we will be doing. Training is a vital and essential key to self defense. If you own a firearm you should be getting some type of training regularly. If you are free and around Upstate SC contact Dan at Dynamic Defense for more information about this class!
As always we love you guys and have a blessed week!
